ROASTED ALMONDS AND PEPITAS, TWO WAYS

Ingredients

Roasted Almonds & Pepitas (20 min)

  • 1 cup Almonds
  • ½ cup Pepitas (Pumpkin Seeds)
  • 1 - 2 pinch Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil

Alternative: Maple Sriracha Almonds & Pepitas (30 min)

  • 1 cup Almonds
  • ½ cup Pepitas (Pumpkin Seeds)
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • ¼ cup Sriracha Chili Sauce

Instructions

Roasted Almonds & Pepitas

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add almonds & pepitas to a shallow bowl. Drizzle in olive oil & salt, and toss.
  • Spread mixture onto parchment lined baking sheet, in one even layer.
  • Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, or until they start to crackle and give off toasty aromatics.

Alternative: Maple Sriracha Almonds & Pepitas

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk the maple & sriracha.
  • Add in the almonds & pepitas. Mix thoroughly.
  • Spread mixture onto lined baking sheet in one even layer.
  • Roast for 25 - 30 minutes, tossing occasionally, until almonds are golden.
