A rustic salted caramel apple galette wraps warm, cinnamon-sugar apples in a golden, flaky crust, finished with a drizzle of rich vegan caramel. Served with a scoop of creamy coconut vanilla ice cream, it’s the ultimate cozy dessert for apple tart lovers.

GALETTE 1 Frozen Vegan Pie Crust , Thawed 3-4 Cups Apples , Cored, Thinly Sliced 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice 1/3 Cup Sugar 1 Tsp Cinnamon 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar 1 Tsp Vanilla 2 Tbsp Plant Butter , Melted 1 Tsp Large Grain Sugar TOPPINGS *Caramel Sauce *Vanilla Ice Cream , Vegan Flakey Sea Salt
Preheat oven to 375℉.
Place thawed pie crust on a piece of parchment and roll out into a flat disc. Carefully transfer to a baking sheet.
In a large bowl, toss the apples in lemon juice until evenly coated.
In a small bowl, whisk together sugar + cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples, and gently toss.
Add vanilla and apple cider vinegar to apples, and gently toss.
Layer the apples around the middle of crust, leaving a 2" border.
Fold crust edges over the apples in layered panels.
Brush crust and apples with melted butter. Sprinkle large grain sugar over crust and apples.
Bake on middle oven rack 40 - 50 minutes, or until crust is golden and apples are soft and juicy. Rest on cooling rack 10 minutes.
Lightly drizzle caramel sauce and sea salt flakes over apples. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
